At PDFRun, your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our PDF processing tools.
1. Information We Collect
Files You Upload
Files uploaded for processing are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour. We do not read, analyse, store, sell or share the contents of your files.
Usage Data
We collect minimal anonymous usage data including: tool type used, approximate file size, processing status, and randomly-generated session identifiers not linked to your identity.
Account Data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect your email address. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process your PDF files and return results to you
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To send transactional emails (receipts, account notifications)
- To improve our tools and fix bugs
3. Data Retention
Uploaded files: deleted within 1 hour. Usage logs: retained up to 30 days in anonymised form. Account data: retained while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of account closure.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not use advertising networks or data brokers.
5. Your Rights
